Richard has been appointed as the Country General Manager of PT Actavis Indonesia since 01 September 2024.
Richard van Witzenburg is the Country General Manager for PT Actavis Indonesia and responsible for the Indonesia Commercial Organization.
Richard has a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of strategic and operational expertise in the international healthcare sector. He has a proven record of success in managing a broad range of therapeutic areas, including Women's Health, Endocrinology, Transplantation and Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Respiratory, Oncology, and CNS, as well as Corporate Branded Generics.
His perused professional journey across Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Singapore, where he worked with leading pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Merck Serono, Omrix Pharmaceutical, and Stryker. Richard holds an MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
